I was interested if you could find your way around a city by just knowing a brief direction. Therefore Edinburgh was the perfect testing field, since I do not know the city.
I started walking from a point, from which I was able to see my destination. From there I continued walking trying to walk the way with the smallest deviation from my estimated direction of the target.

nice attempt, but as usual words are faster then the eye can move!
